Media Anak Negeri, Lampung 20 September 2024. Perguruan Pencak Silat Lebah Putih (PSLP) Cabang Lampung Selatan Sukses menggelar Acara Kejuaraan Pencak Silat Pondok Pesantren (Kejurpon) 2024. Acara yang digelar di Pondok Pesantren Ukhuwah Islamiyah (PPUI) Margodadi-Jati Agung Lampung Selatan sejak hari Kamis tanggal 19 September kemarin diikuti oleh 157 Atlet dari berbagai Pondok Pesantren di Lampung Selatan dan sekitarnya. Ratusan atlit usia dini, pra remaja dan remaja peserta Kejurpon sangat antusias mengikuti seluruh rangkaian acara.
Acara yang digelar setelah para santri selesai melaksanakan Ujian Akhir Semester ini memiliki Tujuan untuk Membina semangat dan kemampuan generasi mukmin yg kuat ilmu & fisik. Tujuan Acara ini menjadi spirit Kegiatan yang mengusung tema “Bersama Pencak Silat Lebah Putih, Jadilah Mukmin yang kuat Ilmu dan Fisik”. ” Selain itu, Kegiatan ini juga kami maksudkan sebagai ajang seleksi para atlet yang nantinya bisa mewakili PSLP di ajang kejuaraan kabupaten, Provinsi, bahkan ketingkat Nasional” keterangan dari Suhu Rohimin, Ketua Cabang PSLP Lampung Selatan.
“Para Atlet Peserta Kejuaraan adalah Anggota PSLP dari beberapa Pondok Pesantren di sekitar Lampung Selatan yang telah kami bina dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler diluar kegiatan keagamaan di Pondok masing-masing. Saat ini kami memang sedang aktif mengadakan kerjasama pembinaan ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat dengan beberapa Sekolah dan Pondok Pesantren yang ada di Lampung”. Penjelasan lebih Lanjut dari Ketua Cabang PSLP Lampung Selatan.
“Kejurpon kali ini membuka sebanyak 19 Kelas Pertandingan yang terdiri dari 9 (sembilan) Kelas Usia Dini, 9 (sembilan) Kelas Pra-Remaja serta 1 (satu) kelas Remaja. Masing-masing kelas kita ambil juara 1 & 2. Jadi total juaranya ada 19 juara 1, serta 19 juara 2”. Sambut Suhu Arif selaku Humas Panitia Acara.
“InsyaAllah latihan rutin 1kali/pekan kita laksanakan di masing-masing Sekolah dan Pondok Pesantren yang kita bina, dan InsyaAllah tahun depan akan diadakan kembali Kejurpon yg ke 2, Semoga dapat membangkitkan semangat para santri dalam menuntut ilmu,,aamiin”.
