PESAWARAN – Personel Polsek Padang Cermin bergerak cepat membantu warga yang menjadi korban banjir dan longsor di Desa Sukajaya Lempasing, Kecamatan Teluk Pandan, Sabtu, 30 Agustus 2025. Selain meninjau lokasi, petugas juga aktif membantu proses pembersihan material longsor yang sempat menutupi akses jalan.
Bencana ini terjadi setelah hujan deras mengguyur wilayah sejak dini hari, menyebabkan air meluap dan merendam rumah-rumah warga. Di saat yang sama, material tanah dan bebatuan longsor dari tebing, menutupi jalan raya Way Ratai. Akibatnya, akses jalan lumpuh total dan tidak bisa dilalui kendaraan.
Menanggapi laporan tersebut, personel Polsek Padang Cermin, dipimpin oleh Kapolsek, langsung menuju lokasi. Mereka berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait untuk mengerahkan dua unit ekskavator guna mempercepat pembersihan material longsor. Petugas juga membantu warga yang rumahnya terendam banjir dan memastikan tidak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden ini.
“Ini adalah bagian dari tugas kami sebagai pengayom masyarakat. Saat warga mengalami musibah, kami harus sigap hadir untuk memberikan bantuan dan memastikan situasi kembali pulih secepatnya,” ujar Kapolsek Padang Cermin.
Berkat respons cepat dan kerja sama tim gabungan, genangan air di jalan raya berangsur surut, dan proses pembersihan material longsor terus dikebut. Hingga saat ini, tidak ada korban jiwa yang dilaporkan, dan upaya pemulihan terus dilakukan untuk mengembalikan kondisi seperti semula.
